GRG Annual Conferences
Grandparents Raising Grandchildren
The NEPA Intergenerational Coalition had a very successful 14th annual 2021 annual conference on April 16th. It was a Virtual Conference that had many fine speakers, including the Governor of Pennsylvania, Tom Wolf and the Secretary of the Dept. of Aging, Robert Torres. There were many other speakers who added great value to this event. Behind the scenes, we had a committee working on the Conference, and we commend all those who spoke and those who planned the exceptional presentations.
We are now planning a 16th annual 2023 Conference which will be live and held on October 21, at the Woodlands from 9 AM to 3 PM. We will organize a theme, plan different speaker presentations, and, involve as many people as possible. past live presentations have attracted over 200 persons, representing GRG families and professionals who offer services to the families.
Please mark this new date on your calendar and send any suggestions to Chairperson of the Coalition Howard J. Grossman at 570-262-3443 or by e-mail at grossmanhj@aol.com.
In addition the NEPA Intergenerational Coalition will continue temporarily to hold Coalition meeting electronically and hopefully live meeting beginning in January, 2023 or earlier if possible.
